A real mixed bag of a week weather wise certainly hasn’t made it easy for us. As I write (22/6/22) it would appear that the hot weather has kept one or two of you away, perhaps jobs in the garden or a visit to The Lincolnshire Show have been high on the agenda – I must admit a sun lounger and some very cold cider do have a certain appeal attached to them.
The current tactical advice remains pretty much the same as it has over the last couple of weeks, a Yellow Owl Shuttlecock CDC on the point and a very small size 14 or 16 Hares Ear on the dropper have been certainly consistent and with plenty of fish still close in a good bag of fish can be put together with a careful and accurate approach.

The coming weeks could well see the boats come into their own once more if temperatures increase, that said currently next weeks forecast looks set to cool off again slightly so watch this space and we’ll keep you informed as best we can.
Normally on a weekly report we would post a video of our most recent stocking, we’ve stocked this morning but decided to fire the fish straight off into deeper water with a longer hose rather than our usual Toft fish slide – keeping our fish in the best possible condition is paramount to us being able to offer you the best experience we can. Evening rises have continued to be great with lots of fish rising and we would urge you to take advantage of our longer opening hours on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
We look forward to seeing you soon folks.
